You can see the glacier at the bottom of this valley -- it's covered in rocks, so look carefully.

The next afternoon Hadley and Tycho went on a hike with Daddy.

We found this snowfield on the hike. Quite fun in mid-August!

The next day we took a gondola ride to the top of the neighboring mountain in a ski area. The ski area provided walking sticks to all who wanted them, and Cassie and Hadley sure wanted them! Tycho is carrying his very own hiking stick, bought in the gift shop at the Park the day before.

At this point we got word that the kennel let our poodle Taun We escape and the vacation was cut short.
