There was some hail like stuff at home before we left.
One day in Vancouver we took a hike through the trees and down to the park at the edge of the bay here. Gwen is sitting on the bench in the background, and Takashi, one of Jason's grad students, is in the foreground.
There's a pretty big mud flat at this edge of the bay.

These kids had never seen the ocean before (really, I'm not quite sure if this bay counts) and they were looking for crabs.

As we headed back to the hotel from the sculpture, we noticed a huge crowd gathered. There was this crazy guy, stacked up on this wobbly stand, juggling fire sticks without falling!
Back home in Idaho, we hosted a star party.
It was good practice for setting up the telescope, but there were a lot of clouds, so we didn't see much.
