Here's a view of our house from the hills 1.5 miles southeast. I actually couldn't identify the house by eye here so I nearly missed it in the picture -- it's the really bright one that's half cut-off on the right.

Our house is to the left here, still bright from reflected sunlight. The western end of the Palouse Range, is on the right. That's located northeast of town and includes Moscow Mountain at its eastern end.
