Chicago's Wrigley Field

So on this one Friday, I got up for work at my usual 6AM, and sprinted out to the shuttle stop as I always do, since I'm always so excited to go to work. All of a sudden, I see this gray Saturn come out of nowhere, and the driver steps out. She points a gun at my head and insists I get in the car. What could I do? I had no choice... I just had to miss work.

It turns out that my abductor was my friend Patty, and she had kidnapped me to take me up to Wrigley to see a Pirates/Cubs game. (OK, so maybe there wasn't a gun involved... Maybe there wasn't even arm twisting. Maybe she just said "Wanna go?" and I said "Hell Yeah!". But this is my story, and I'm sticking to it. If this is Patty's boss reading this, replace my name with Patty's and vice versa. :)

Anyways... We made it up to the game in plenty of time and sat out in the bleachers. We were the only people in the entire section who were sober by the 5th inning. It was a lot of fun, except for the annoying blonde chick who kept asking me what the score was, and kept screaming about how she loved getting carded at age 33. Oh well, can't win em all...

And neither can the Pirates. They got crushed 9-0. C'est la Bucs.

Anyways, here's some pics from my digital camera...

Gotta love the nostalgia of this place.
