Anyways, I forget a lot of the order of this stuff. I know we went up to play in a blackjack tournament at an Indian reservation in northern Washington on Wednesday. We took Donnie's convertable...
Some Washington scenery
Donnie's hair was pretty entertaining
We stopped at an inlet along the way because we were early. Here's Donnie...
And here's no one
And here's me.
The tournament was fun, except that ours dealers busted like twice in the first 42 hands. Seriously, it was brutal. Donnie stayed alive and staged a comeback, but it was too little, too late.
Later that week, we visited the Space Needle
Just a little phallic...
Out to the sea
Straight down. Guess ppl are more depressed in Seattle...
Downtown Seattle
Donnie's car is a pixel... But it's there, really.
The bay.
Me and Donnie. Kind of a funny story... We asked a random if she could take a picture. She started getting ready to be IN the picture. Then she caught on, and we all laughed... OK, not that funny of a story...
A few pics of the sunset over the mountains. Pick your favorite. :) That Friday, we all went to dinner at Claim Jumpers. We really need one of these in St. Louis... Yummy.
Pat, Donnie, and Winkler in front of Bob the Motorcycle
Me, Pat and Winkler and Bob
The next day, Dave, Pat and I took a trip to nearby Bainbridge Island for lunch.
Dave and I on the ferry
A look back at the scenery scarring eyesore that is Seattle.
On Sunday, I forgot my camera, but Donnie and I went to a firing range, and he taught me how to shoot a handgun. I was pretty good for a rookie. Then we went to the Kingdome and watched the Mariners and Devil Rays. This was the most pathetic game I've ever seen. The Devil Rays went ahead like 14-2 in the first 5 innings, and for the first time I can remember, I left a game in the 6th inning. It was THAT bad.
It was time for me to leave. St. Louis and WashU. were calling me. So I took the 2100 mile drive back.
Let me just say a few words about Montana... It sucks. They changed the speed limit (as in, there WASN'T one, and now there is) 3 days before I crossed the state line. There's no reason for one. It's way too much way too little... Regardless, I took a little run at the end just to release a bit of frustration, and got a good ways above 100MPH.
South Dakota was at least a little more interesting. I stopped at Mt. Rushmore...
Four pics of the Mountain. I'm only in one. From left to right, Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt, Lincoln. I'm the one not made of rock.
There's also this place called Wall Drug. They have the most advertising I've ever seen, and the place is tackiness central. They have a billboard about once a mile for the 100 or so miles before you get there. Hey, it worked on me...
The front
The T-Rex they have inside. I have no clue why.
That's all folks.
